Paleozoic Dreams - SS12

Paleozoic Dreams S/S'12 takes inspiration from its namesake, referencing the Paleozoic era where the first sharks appeared on earth. Initial interest and further research into fossils, prehistoric artefacts and flints soon presented a serendipitous find of fossilized shark teeth that were approximately 3 million years old. This fossil provides the core focus for a nucleus of key pieces that juxtapose raw carnal beauty with clean, modern statements. Shark Teeth, miniature flints, neat little bricks and arrow heads feature side by side in a perfect balance, and finished with Estelle Deve’s signature texture that is inspired by well-lived, battered surfaces and rocks.
